1/3 label manager Rtch Kallan opens up The AudioBloc’s first release with a melodic, arpeggiator driven, dance-floor considered original mix, with remix support from a selection of global talent.
Since the early 00s, Rtch self-described as a passionate, enthusiast first, has been honing his skills and obsession. Through many pseudonyms Rtch has seen his work & remixes appear on MOS and AATW, to name a few. Via his Kallan moniker, Rtch’s enthusiasm for driving techno, stripped back analogue synthesis & detuned sounds are present.
Gracing the first release, & in no particular order are Colombia’s Marck D with notable work on Kraftek & Phobiq. His take focuses on booming kicks and expertly saturated synths, whereby Andre Keller from Stuttgart with work on Funk’n Deep & Haber provides the peak-time highs & big snare rolls. Finally Electronic 3arthquake’s own Arne Goettsch captures the dystopian mood with dark atmosphere & low urging kicks.
