Stepping into the spotlight this week is Jeremy Wahab with his EP, Trust for BLOC18.
Featuring recently at The Bloc with his rework of Max Foley’s Acid Stage, we are pleased to welcome back Jeremy Wahab presenting his EP packed full of UK and Ireland based hard hitters on the remix. The opening track entitled ‘Trust’ is a pure slice of melodic Techno, enriched with hoovers, emotive arpeggiation and driving percussion. Beautifully crafted big room synths are on the agenda in the second track, ‘Lost’ where the melody comes alive with variation as the centre hook evolves. The third act, ‘Forget Me’ can be best described as a floor stomper, centring a simplistic yet very effective acid bass.
Recently appearing in the Beatport charts with their work on Autektone, first up on the remix is the boys from Ireland, Mac N Dan. With a keen understanding of dancefloor dynamics for their interpretation of Trust, the boys offer a huge, intense build-up dropping to rich high octave synth plucks. Also making his debut appearance on The AudioBloc this week is Sam Kitt. Starting his career in 2020, he shows us why he's one to watch with his rendition of Trust. The scope of Sam's piece expands immensely after the breakdown, rising to something completely original, dramatic and emotive. Taking the time away from his new imprint Taumen, the release concludes with KLINES from London, finally making his appearance on The AudioBloc. Character rich sound design and warping synths come together to make a beautifully rhythmic groove, full of energy.
